Postage stamps with images of the Girls' Generation (photo) will be released.

SM Entertainment, a management company home to the Girls' Generation, announced on July 3, "The Korea Post will officially release the postage stamps in early August. These stamps with the name, 'Girls' Generation, My Own Stamps,' are the first stamp collection of celebrities issued by the Korea Post with the contract signed directly with the stars."

The Korea Post will manufacture a collection of 14 stamps, including 9 with pictures of each of the members from their third album, The Boys, along with their autographs, and 5 stamps with pictures from their previous albums such as Oh! and Gee. The price of the stamps is set at 20,000 won. A manager at the Korea Post said, "We expect 'Girls' Generation, My Own Stamps' to contribute to the development of the postage stamp culture and to the expansion of the Korean wave."

The stamps will be sold at 50 major post offices nationwide including the Seoul Central Post Office early next month. They will also be on display at the Korea Philatelic Exhibition at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul on August 9~13.
